I would like to wish all of you a Happy summer solstice.
My journey into the world of Aromatherapy is quite an interesting one. Being born and raised in Hong Kong we had quite a hectic childhood with family and friends. I was an enthusiastic sports person, I loved swimming, jogging, ice skating and Squash. Infact I started playing mediocre championship squash in my teenage years, and I loved those years meeting so many different people and playing in different teams and getting into the spirit of sports. I even played a league match on the day I was getting engaged to my husband, it was quite funny, I asked the team to let me go first as I am getting engaged and have to rush home shower and wear an Indian Sari, as I am having a party at home.
They were is disbelief and wondered why I was even there!!! Well there went the spirit of sports… Anyway to cut it short I played first, beat the guy, bought him a beer and left for home… What fun.. got showered, put makeup and my Sari on and got engaged…
Boy that was the best treatment I ever had, the whole experience of going to see someone professional and receiving the most amazing massage with pure organic essential oils with superb after care advice, I got hooked. My pain slowly came down from a 9 to a 4 in a matter of weeks and I decided there and then that I would dedicate my life to learning Aromatherapy and using it in my practice as a qualified clinical Aromatherapist. This indeed was accomplished and my journey began…
Today I have been in practice for 19 years in Dubai, never looked back and kept learning more and more to better myself. Being a principal tutor of one of the best affiliations in the world, The International Federal of Professional Aromatherapist UK and a full member of the College of Medicine in England, I am proud to say that I did achieve my goals and am still making new ones.
Today I am happy to say that being a Principal Tutor for this affiliation allows me to teach their curriculum anywhere in the world. Hence I am offering the full accreditation of becoming a Clinical Aromatherapist and a Non-Massage course in Clinical Aromatherapy (for people who do not want to include massage into their treatment, and just learn the art of blending). Details of this can be found on my website. Whichever course you may want to decide to take up, let me tell you, it will not fail you. It will only add new skills and develop new ideas for your future. I look forward to sharing my knowledge into the world of Alternative Therapies.
Wishing you all an amazing summer, be safe, be happy… Till next time god bless.
