After acquiring 2 dogs, a German Shepard (TJ) and a Golden Retriever (Rocco), I have been using Aromatherapy for them in treating Bad breathe, Itchy skin, Fleas, Teething, Hyperactivity and so much more.  It’s another world being able to use my knowledge in essential oils to treat them for day to day ailments and it really works.
TJ being a German Shepard is not inclined to pampering as he is playing the tough dog and the protector of the family.  However Rocco absolutely loves the pampering, the smell of the oils, the massage, the Lavender mist and the natural shampoo, and ear cleaning… Yes ear cleaning which most dogs hate, Rocco loves it.  So I have gone back to my old notes and some books on using Aromatherapy for animals and have made some interesting blends which they seem to like and it does keep them clean and smelling fresh all the time.
I will share one of the blends with you pet lovers out there, it is a ‘Fresh Breathe Blend’ with a dropper and can also be used to clean their teeth with a gauze too.  So enjoy it and I would love to hear from you for any other blends you might be interested in using for your pooches.  I think it is a nice friendly, effective and natural way to treat your pets.
Fresh Breathe Drops
5 ml Vegetable Glycerin
30 ml Grain alcohol or Vodka
5 ml castor oil sulfated
7 oz Spring water or Distilled water
6 drops Cardamon essential oil
4 drops Coriander seed essential oil
6 drops Peppermint essential oil
·  SHAKE WELL before each use. Put 1-2 drops in the dogs mouth upto 3 times a day.

·  You can also place the same blend on a gauze and clean their teeth, as this will prevent plaque from accumulating
Try it out and let me know.  I am happy to make blends for you if interested, simply email or call me.
